....News....

Shojujitsu Karate (VBRSK) was founded in 2003
by Adrian Valman after training in martial arts for over 20 years. The clubs training syllabus encompasses both traditional and progressive approaches towards Karate.

We consider martial arts as a way of life, it is not exclusively for learning to fight. As such, all elements of Karate focus not only on effective combative techniques but also respect, etiquette, health, fitness and personal development "DO".

Training in Karate can strengthen our minds & bodies to prepare us for life's obstacles. It can help everyone say NO to negative peer pressure.

Based in Central London we are 5 minutes walking distance from Marylebone Station. (View Map & Directions) We are open to both Adults and Children, absolute beginners and advanced students alike.

Training
Shojujitsu Karate Do offers adults and children's classes, both male and female, all are welcome, whatever your age, weight, height or fitness levels, you can enjoy and benefit from our friendly classes.

We try to address every day typical concerns: Every technique is taught in a step-by-step logical approach. We progress at your pace - no need to worry about being left behind. Mixing of students is encouraged, helping to develop confidence in your techniques, and helping you to make new friends.

All students are treated as individuals - we want everyone to achieve their goals!

In February 2009 we move to our new permanent Dojo at Gateway School, Caplan Street, London NW8 8LN. Thanks to all the people that supported and helped us with this new adventure.
