INSTRUCTORS

Sensei Valman - 4th Dan has been training in Martial Arts for over 30 years. He has trained in Shotokan as well as Shotokai Karate, Jujitsu, Judo, Aikido, Hapkido, Kabudo and an official form of Military Self Defence while serving in the military.

He has taken part in full contact Karate and Jujitsu competitions in the UK, Mainland Europe and other parts of the world. “As an Ex Forces soldier, I was personally involved in a combat fighting systems for official use. The system I was taught is a mixture of many martial arts put together. "Overcoming any battle involves out-thinking and out maneuvering your opponent".

Today Adrian teaches Shojujitsu Karate at the V.B.R.S.K Club in Gateway School, London.

Sensei Valman has trained under:

* Hanshi P Browne 8th Dan Kenpo Ju-Jitsu,
* Sensei Yamazaki 7th Dan Karate,
* Sensei Okayama 7th Dan Aikido,
* Sensei Ohta 6th Dan Karate,
* Sensei Galisko 6th Dan Kobudo,
* Master Behrooz 6th Dan Taekwondo
* Sensei Tani 4th Dan Judo
* Sensei Mohi 2nd Dan ShotoKai Karate

Sensei Ramlakhan - 2nd Dan practiced Judo and Taekwondo for about 3 years as a child but stopped when he went to secondary school.

In 1998 he started to look for a martial art to pratice again and found Walthamstow Karate Ryu (WKR). Under Sensei Ray and Suzie Keeble.

In 2001 after intense training, he achieved the grade of 1st Dan.

After some time he started his own dojo and was given the title of Sensei in 2002 by his instructor and started teaching.

Along the way he has gained an interest in martial arts history and studied books on philosophy and the spiritual side of Karate, as well as many technical manuals.

These include classics such as the Hagakuri, the Book of 5 rings, the Art of war, the Bubishi and the Tao Te Ching.

Since he achieved his 1st Dan, he has trained with several sensei's in Aikido, Ju-Jitsu, Shotokan Karate, Ishin Ryu Karate, Goju Ryu Karate and Earth and Ocean.

In 2007 Rheal took his 2nd Dan. Today he helps teach at the V.B.R.S.K club.


In February 2009 we move to our new permanent Dojo at Gateway School, Caplan Street, London NW8 8LN. Thanks to all the people that supported and helped us with this new adventure.
